Northern Trust Open
February 13-19, 2012

This tournament is known as the "crown jewel" of the PGA TOUR "West Coast Swing." This event is managed by Mike Bone and Laker great, Jerry West. It is played annually in February in Pacific Palisades, California at the Riviera Country Club. The tournament is covered by the Golf Channel and NBC. The 2010 Northern Trust Open champion was Steve Stricker.

Catalina Island Conservancy Marathon/10K/5K/Kids Run

This event will feature the exciting and historic marathon course used largely since the first year on the Catalina Island Conservancy’s lands. This includes much of the rugged terrain, spectacular vistas and special challenges enjoyed by Hans Albrecht and friends in the earliest days of the event under his management and enhanced over the years.

More than 1,100 runners, walkers, spectators, and volunteers from all over Southern California join together at Alive & Running to raise awareness and funding for suicide prevention services. Proceeds from Alive & Running directly benefit the Suicide Prevention Center, a program of Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. The race is held in Westchester, CA.
